David began his career with the Northern
Ireland Civil Service, in what was then the Estate Duty Office
in the Law Courts, Belfast. Whilst there he completed his
Degree at Queens University Belfast. He joined Johns Elliot
in July 1972, and became a partner in 1974.
David heads up the firm's trust and administration of
estates department. He also specialises in commercial
property development, having acted in the site assembly,
development, commercial letting and disposal of a number
of shopping centres in the Province.
Outside of the law, David's main interests are in sport,
being a keen golfer and an ardent supporter of the Ulster
Rugby Team and Lagan Valley Athletics Club.
