Admitted as a solicitor in 1977,
Eric is head of the domestic conveyancing department
and also has extensive experience acting for major corporate
clients and institutions in commercial property transactions.
The firm acts for a number of well-known clubs and
major charities. Eric is part of the team that advises
clubs and charities in connection with all their major requirements.
He has extensive experience in connection with the formation
and registration of clubs. In addition he has particular
experience in relation to the formation of companies limited
by guarantee and the use of them as vehicles to carry out
charitable objects.
In addition, Eric assists David Leitch in that part of
the firm's private client department that advises
in connection with inheritance tax planning, the
preparation of wills and the formation of trusts.
