Autumn Sun Jump

Painting commissioned by Johns Elliot to mark the move to new offices

To mark the move to new offices Johns Elliot commissioned a painting from Ross Wilson, one of Ireland's most prominent artists. The painting, entitled "Autumn Sun Jump", a study of a horse and rider in bold shades of crimson, is the centre piece of Johns Elliot's new offices. Maurice Butler, Managing Partner of the firm, said, "Ross is undoubtedly a major figure in the international art world and we feel that this bold, modern approach suits our new office space here in Linenhall Street. We are particularly keen to support strong local artists and I am confident that this work will be enjoyed for many years to come."

It is appropriate that the move to new offices should be marked by the commissioning of a modern work of art as the firm's founder, Alexander Johns, was a highly accomplished artist himself and a number of his works were displayed in the firm's former premises.
