STEVEN COCKCROFT
Having joined the firm in 1986, Steven was admitted as a solicitor in Northern Ireland in 1987. He subsequently took a sabbatical in 1995-1996, attending University College Dublin and obtaining an LL.M in European Law. Steven is a partner in the commercial property department, and advises in relation to all aspects of commercial property work, with particular reference to commercial leasing and retail development. Steven has for a number of years supervised all aspects of legal work for one of the largest shopping centres in Belfast, and is involved in site acquisition in Northern Ireland for a national retailer.
In addition Steven advises generally on landlord and tenant matters including the application of the Business Tenancies (NI) Order 1996, and is involved in our general conveyancing practice.
Steven is an occasional tutor on Commercial Leasing at the institute for Professional Legal Studies in Belfast.
