Vera Woods


Vera joined the firm as a trainee, qualifying as a solicitor 1982, and becoming a partner in January 1987. Although she has retired as a partner, she remains with the firm as a consultant.

Vera’s diverse workload includes intellectual property and copyright disputes, licensing, and commercial litigation for a number of high profile clients.  She also acts for a number of local and nationally based charities advising on policy and compliance issues, including the promotion of legislation through Parliament.

Vera also has considerable experience acting for a major local utility, advising in relation to site acquisition and wayleave issues.

Vera also advises on matrimonial and family matter in our private client department, assisted by Katrina Olver.
